# On Off ramp

*Compliant crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto conversion via VNX as the regulated arranger to third-party providers.*

## Overview

VNX offers institutional crypto-asset conversion as an arranger model: customer-facing service is delivered through VNX's regulated platform, while execution is routed via API to one or more external regulated providers. Supported pairs include BTC, ETH, and stablecoins ↔ GBP, CHF and the reverse. The product positions VNX as an essential on/off-ramp between traditional financial systems and digital assets. This page is for treasury and compliance leaders evaluating VNX as a regulated counterparty for compliant fiat↔digital flows.

## Key benefits

* **Single regulated counterparty** — VNX is the customer-facing, BMA-supervised counterparty; execution sits with regulated third-party providers via API.
* **Real-time price discovery with rate confirmation** — platform shows suggested conversion rate including VNX fees; customer has a limited time window to confirm.
* **Operational reserve smoothing** — VNX maintains a cash/crypto reserve to avoid delays in fiat transfers from/to the conversion provider.

## How it works

The customer requests a conversion on the VNX platform. VNX's backend automatically routes the request via API to an external regulated provider for a quote. The platform shows the customer the suggested rate inclusive of VNX fees and a limited confirmation window. On confirmation, the asset (BTC, ETH, or stablecoin) is transferred to VNX, then forwarded to the provider for conversion. The resulting fiat (e.g., GBP) is settled to the VNX bank/PSP account and made available on the customer's platform balance. The reverse path (fiat → crypto) operates on the same principle.

VNX's compliance engine performs sanctions screening, AML/ATF transaction monitoring, and (where applicable) Travel Rule data exchange. Cross-border and counterparty risks are framed by the same risk-appetite framework that applies across the VNX platform.
